I would like to know more about "how" this is done...
JJ: 20061120-0145UTC: Thanks very much for your offer, Lase... Actually, I think for our early stage of development, the Wikipedia Community Portal is overkill - and pretty overwhelming. Perhaps we should first discuss what we think such a page CAN be used in our community.
Don't really know if I am qualified to do it, but if it is something I feel comfortable with, I could see myself helping out... (is it the kind of thing that: if you have to ask, you can't handle it?)
JJ: 20061120-0145UTC: Well whenever you have a question about ANYthing, please ask! And there is plenty you can do to help... Thank you for offering! Here's a next thing you can do: I'm going to tell you how to email Z, and any user for that matter. Please COPY that text from here, and PASTE it in to an appropriate area on the Main_Page cuz if you gotta ask, that means others are asking too!
I would like to help-out somewhere, though? It would be helpful, though, if I had a working e-mail address for say: Mr. "Z", so I could discuss this process!

JJ: 20061120-0145UTC: Just COPY the following text (when within the edit box so you get all of the wikitext format codes!) and paste it into the best place on the Main Page where newbies are most likely to find it, in your opinion. We can always move it around if need be.
Just a style comment: Why do ALL of JJ's answers on this page have a nice looking, stylish box around them, but all the type inside runs way past the right side of the text box boundry? (could be that the type style used, is a wider font?)

How to Email Another User
Emailing another OrgasmWiki User is very easy, as long as that User has chosen to provide an email address.
Here's how:
- From any page in the OrgasmWiki, using the Search Box in the left-hand column...
- Type in: User: immediately followed by the recipient's Username.
- Please make sure you put that colon immediately after the word User.
- And make sure there are no spaces between User and the colon, nor between the colon and the actual Username...
- So if the username of the person you want to contact is Hlaser, then type in User:Hlaser... If the User you want to contact is Jack then type in: User:Jack for Laly, type User:Laly - and so on.
- After entering the User's name in that format, click the Go button just below the Search Box...
- This will take you to that recipient's User page, where they may or may not as yet have posted something about themself.
- Once you are on that page, notice that in the left-column Toolbox box, there now appears a link that says: E-mail this user...
- Just click that link and it takes you to a form page that you use to send the email.
- Fill out the form and click the Send button near the bottom.
- That's all there is to it!
If you want to receive email from others, be sure to be logged in to the OrgasmWiki, then click the my preferences link in the upper right of any page and add your valid email address - preferably one that does not reveal your true identity - unless you want that to happen.
