Question Re: Connection between expansive thoughts and increased echo effects?

What a GREAT discussion!

Hey mog, could you please post a link or links in this thread regarding the learned institutions reporting research that two or more orgasms per week can add 8 years to our lives?

You TEASE!

Jolly good thing I suggested two or three practice sessions per week, eh? Show's you the wisdom of the body and of the power of intuition - even mine!

Cheers one and all!
Jack

BBC FOCUS - The world's best science & technology monthly

Available in podcast form.

Page 31, item3.

If you can’t access this without a subscription, tell me and I’ll type out and post the short item.

It mentions research done by Bristol University, UK and Queen’s university Belfast, UK.

I’ve hunted on sites belonging to those institutions but can’t find out any more. Maybe, as an academic you might know how to penetrate their research archives.

Regards,

Mog

Thumbs up Re: Connection between expansive thoughts and increased echo effects?

Thanks OMG MOG!

Took a wee bit of excavation but here is the original study reported:

UK Study shows as much as a 50 percent reduction in mortality risk for men who enjoy more orgasms per week

Whoa! Rockin out in those villages in the UK!

Anybody care to volunteer for a comparative study for women? Just contact the study authors! How about it, Andi, Mari, Laly, Deva?

Thanks again, Mogster-the-Blogster!

Only to happy to help matey!

For all you folk with small-chunk/detail sorting tendencies, try here:

Sex and death: are they related? Findings from the Caerphilly cohort study -- Smith et al. 315 (7123): 1641 -- BMJ

regards,

'Z'

PS before you ask, the email address in the study is nothing to do with yours truly! The study was in South Wales, not North Wales.

That puts an interesting slant on the taoists who say less is better, though of course they're referring to ejaculation, not orgasm. I'm sure the medical studies don't separate the two.

I'm up for the comparative study, though of course I'll never know if I'll have lived longer or shorter cos I can't clone myself - however I'm sure that I'll be able to say that I lived a far happier life!

It was the koan Less Is More, plus my sense of the tremendous power of the Yin Path so greatly undervalued and underestimated especially in the Western World that motivated me to explore just how little stimulation might be necessary - along with the breakthrough of discovering the Key Sound™ in a flash of inspiration that led me to this way of opening the Great Door of Multiple Orgasm for men and women.

For example, read my accounts of the story of how I discovered this, in the Forum Archives such as in Chat 0158

BTW, this, I believe, was why Laly chose the tiger as her Avatar!

Please feel free to add trackback links to other instances in the Forum where this is discussed.

Just use the Google Site Search tool and use the keyword: tiger.

Wishing you every Joy!

Jack

Hi Jack,

Great to read both your post and the chat about your discovery of the KS. Also interesting was the later discussion about exploring different (yin/yang feminine/masculine) parts of ourselves and sexuality.

I should have clarified my previous post - 'less is more' - I was referring to less ejaculation, (especially as one gets older) as per the taosits - whereas the studies all talk about orgasm, but they wouldn't have separated them out from ejaculation.

Great thread! Now I'm off to read more about 'tiger'!

awwww....am blushing...talkin' about lil ole' me...

I can only speak for myself deva..re: the ying/yang thing...when I first started on my KSMO journey and the very first furball cropped up for me .... it was both a wake-up call and even though I couldn't admit it at the time, but now can a blessing as well.

sorry = had to pause as the tears flow as I recall this journey.

As for the tiger avatar...wellllll - there's a story to that ....now I am not the most spiritual person you'll ever meet...I related this story in my blog.
