Hi everyone. I've just made a discovery that I am finding interesting and relevant to those on the KSMO, energic/multiorgasmic road. It's a Canadian film from 1997 called "Bliss" starring Terrence Stamp and a couple other faces I recognized but don't have in my head at the moment. Just for reference, Terrence Stamp played General Zod in Superman II. I always liked him. He plays an unconventional sex therapist with deep involvement in what I would call tantric practice. He gets involved with a newlywed couple who are dealing with some issues which are affecting and are affected by their sexuality.
I would recommend it to anyone on the forum. I just want to add a quick warning that there are some rather detailed references (in a therapy setting) to childhood sexual abuse that might upset some people. Not graphic or violent, but definitely explicit in their description. You can watch it on youtube (apparetnly not "known" enough for anyone to make a copyright fuss) if you search "Bliss 1997"--it should pop right up. There are some issues with sound/picture not synching, but at least you can watch it before spending any money on the DVD (which I intend to purchase.) I liked the movie on several levels. It's very aesthetically pleasing and talks, at some points, in detail about exercises to increase sexuality, separate male ejaculation from orgasm, body memories and releasing them (I've had some experience with this via KSMO) and other tantric issues that are discussed. It's not specific enough to be a "how to" video, but for those of us with some background knowledge, it might be very interesting and enjoyable. I'd love to know if anyone knows this film and what other KSMO folks think of it. |

Hi Roderick,
I managed to track down this film and watch it just the other week. I enjoyed it and I'm just glad that KSMO is so much easier and more pleasurable than hanging upside down in a frame counting the number of breaths out of each nostril as a method of learning to separate ejaculation from orgasm! It's is a sexy movie and I agree with you roderik, " very aesthetically pleasing" . I'm no film critic, but my wife who usually is lucky to last anymore than 5 minutes with any movie I select got all the way to the end. 3 stars out of 5 from me. Most enjoyable. |

Thanks for the comment Sky_Walker! I agree, some of the methodology discussed in the film seems to be a more involved and intricate Indian Tantric-proper perspective, which I'm sure is also useful, but is not as simple as KSMO. I was thinking about this idea earlier today. Some of those methods seem to lean more toward drawing the energy here and there and learning to more actively control it, whereas KSMO seems to just awaken the pathways for our energy to flow through naturally--as they would anyway.
I particularly liked Terrance Stamp in the role of the unorthodox therapist. He had a real style to him and was interesting. I'm glad you enjoyed it! |
