Milestones

While we each travel our own path on the Key Sound Journey, there are experiences that we find many have met on their journey too, particularly ones that open the way to new phenomena, a new stage or a new plateau on which we then take up the journey further, onward toward the home of the Kundalini Serpent.

The key experiences get named because they are memorable and we want to talk about them, share and compare notes on the experience. If we are new on the path, we feel better with some landmarks to help us navigate and participate in the discussions.

Here in Milestones we are putting these in the loose order in which the majority have experienced them sequentially. Definitions for these and other parts of the KSMO experience can be found or added in the Glossary.

Please post with your suggestions for Milestones and where in the existing sequence. There are many more to be added between these initial examples. We will keep track of differences in suggestions, note them and edit the Milestones list with appropriate notes. If clusters or other patterns develop, we'll highlight them in descriptive ways.

In response to suggestions, we are adding brief definitions here for any obscure terms. Let us know if you would like a term defined here, or a new term added, or a better definition! For more complete definitions, please visit Milestones' twin, the Glossary.

Sorry Artform, I'm not trying to be disrespectful but I'm not sure if "Riding the Kundalini Serpent" would be understood by those of us who don't know what that is. I could hazard a guess but I"m thinking we want to make these milestones simple enough that anyone from any background can understand. Will there be descriptions with these milestones to help people navigate them?

Canuck75, would it work to have the answer in the Glossary, which can be an alphabetic listing, while this Milestones list aspires to become a consensus or approximate map of "the journey", or checklist like bird-watching?...

What other words or phrases do we throw quotes around here? They are prime candidates, no?

Ya you might be right artform concerning adding those terms to the glossary. But I do know that only a certain percentage of people would read the glossary while the rest of us probably just want a understandable list of milestones. What about providing a small one sentence description next to each milestone? As Jack said, 'Nightwaves' or 'Nightgasms' as I call them, should be in there as well.

...and for Search Engine indexing purposes, BOTH Nightwaves AND Night Waves should be included.

This paradigm should be likewise followed for other terms where people may sometimes write them as, for example keysound versus Key Sound and Key Sound(tm).
