I actually like how it's displayed now. The dynamic post time format shows whether a post was entered a few hours ago and then gradually shifts to a full date format as the posts get older. This allows you to quickly see how old a post is. If a post gets old enough so that only the date is shown, then the actual post time really doesn't matter anymore.
Just another opinion! ![]() Otp |

Ok... Now you should see a poll at the top of the thread.
It may just be the three of us voting but what they hey - let's try the software. ![]() Thanks to both of you for your thoughts. Hope you're starting to notice some signs of reorganization of Forums... and yes many will be consolidated too. Do you like the graphic across the top? |

Okay, I voted.
Yes, I certainly am noticing the changes. They look good! I noticed that if you collapse a forum block such as the Disabilities block, it will retain those settings when you return to the site. You would need to ensure cookies are enabled so it can save this information. The graphic looks good but is a bit too wide. Have you checked into hiring a web designer to spruce up the site(s) with layout and graphics? The cost may be prohibitive, but perhaps a recent college graduate or intern could do it for less than using a design firm. Otp |

Are you saying that the graphic is wider than width of the Forum itself on your display?

Yes, it is. With my favorites window displayed, the scroll bar only shows 2/3 of the width. If I hide the favorites and display full screen, I still see the scroll bar although there is obviously much less to scroll.
It looks like you are using a fixed width for the image. Perhaps you can set the width to 100% so it will adjust to the size of the display. Try width='100%'. I'm assuming you're using an img html tag. If not, then you can check some of the other tags near where the image is displayed and see if they are using a hardcoded value for the width. Hope this helps. Otp. |

Yeah I will. I had it like that but in firefox 100% winds up being 98% so now I have to track down a hack on the for the image width to exactly match the width of the Forum.
Fair chance vB.org may have an answer. Meanwhile, I'll revert it back to width = 100% Thanks... JJ |

Using which browser? It varies from browser to browser. In my IE it's about 10 pixels too wide, and in Firefox it's about ten pixels short of wide enough.
Please email me a screenshot. Thanks. |
