Default Hypnosis

Has anyone here heard of hypnosis? Anyone have any experience with it?

Hypnosis is based on using the power of the unconscious mind while the conscious mind is awake and aware. In a hypnotic trance, one responds very well to verbal suggestion.

Would it be complimentary to ksmo? You could release furballs and amplify any feelings of arousal just by verbal command.

I'm sure the best and uhh safe way to do this is to go to a clinical hypnotherapist but the idea still ponders in my head.

I'll link some videos demonstrating hypnosis if anyone wants to see but I still ponder if it would compliment ksmo or not??

CRUNKYEAH,

I believe self-hypnosis can be a very powerful aid to getting into a relaxed state of mind and body that is highly conducive to learning the KSMO protocol. In fact I use a guided self-hypnosis recording in my own practice that I hope to refine and make available for sale to other members of this community. I have already created a similar guided self-hypnosis recording for the Aneros community that has been well received. You can preview some samples of that recording at CD Baby: ALANA: HypnAerosession

hey rumel

I was curious about your self hypnosis methods. Do you just relax and let the recording guide you to hypnosis or is there a method that you actually induce yourself into a trance?

And how would the beginner use these tools to start his/her KSMO journey?

Hi Crunkyeah, I've been thinking about this lately as well, especially since starting to work with the Silva mind control method. Basically it's self hypnosis or what he calls dynamic meditation. It's a basic countdown for relaxation and concentration with the intent of getting yourself to a level (alpha level) conducive to visualization. I was working with my countdown and visualization practice the other day and had some success bringing up some echoes. One can "visualize" using words or phrases, which is powerful for me as I tend to be very word/audio oriented, or you can picture yourself doing things or picture the situations you want to happen, or you can "visualize" kinesthetically i.e. imagine the feelings in your body, which I worked with a lot the other day. I was concentrating on the question "what will my first MMO feel like?"...the question in and of itself is a kind of suggestion, whether you're in a relaxed/less than fully waking state or not. You have to imagine the situation and focus on it to some extent just in the asking of the question.

Doing this yielded some nice echoes. I sort of "put" them where I wanted them via the visualization. I don't feel like I can control my progress or the events this way, but it's a good way to focus. And the relaxation is definitely a plus...learning to relax more and more deeply. I worked with autohypnosis years ago and was very interested in it. Since then I've been focused more on purely meditative work, though the rediscovery of this autohypnosis or "dynamic meditation" from Silva is definitely very interesting to me right now. I'd recommend looking on Amazon for his books. You can get the basic one that teaches you the basic exercises (nothing complicated) for about 6 bucks...or even less for a used copy I'd imagine.

I also purchased Rumel’s Alana soundtrack from CD Baby a while back. I’ve used it and intend to do so again when I feel my energy is ready to play again.

CRUNKYEAH,

Since all hypnosis is, really self-hypnosis; you are inducing this altered state of consciousness yourself. Becoming relaxed in mind and body are essential aspects to facilitating this state of consciousness. I am not real comfortable using the word “trance” because that can have a lot of different connotations to different people. The basic concept of hypnosis is to get to a high state of suggestibility wherein the sub-conscious will adopt and act upon the suggestions presented.
My particular recording employs a very sexy woman’s voice first talking me into a relaxed body state, while playing in the background is a track of natural sounds and a track of binaural beats to help induce brainwave entrainment to a low Alpha/high Theta wave state. During this time she is also relaxing my conscious mind and engaging my sub-conscious. This process takes about 20 minutes. Then with some periodic sound cues and suggestions for breathing I have a 25 min. period to practice the KS protocol. Following the KS practice portion, the recording continues with subliminal messaging and audible engagement to help keep my mind focused on body sensation awareness, this period I call my ‘warm down’ portion and lasts about 30 minutes. During this period I can focus on ‘echo effects’ and have also experienced a couple of lucid dreams. I would definitely categorize the whole session as a kind of “dynamic meditation” as member ‘roderick’ mentioned in his post.

As to how a beginner would use this tool, that’s simple, you just get yourself comfortable, allow yourself the full time to be undisturbed, put on your headphones and listen to the recording.
