Before I begin practicing ksmo, I often will spend 10-30 minutes warming up my breathing and my body. What I do is I play the native American flute in a soft, sensual, relaxed fashion. The time I spend playing the na-flute has helped me a lot. The flute is easy to learn how to play, and since it has a harmonic scale, it produces wonderfully resonating notes.

There are many recording artist for the na-flute, and if I had never listen to na-flute music, I would choose anyone of Carlos Nakai?s cds.
