I found the following study particularly interesting as it seems to support what many of us here already know thanks to Jack - that males are able to enjoy erection and sexual stimulation while completely bypassing the ejaculatory process altogether: Estradiol in the male rat amygdala facilitates mounting but not ejaculation. Huddleston GG, Michael RP, Zumpe D, Clancy AN. Department of Biology, MSC 8L0389, Georgia State University, 33 Gilmer Street S E Unit 8, Atlanta, GA 30303-3088, USA. Mating activates estrogen sensitive neurons in several regions of male rat brain, including the medial amygdala (MEA). Infusion of the aromatase inhibitor, Fadrozole, into the MEA reduced mating, presumably by inhibiting conversion of testosterone (T) to estradiol (E(2)). We investigated whether administering E(2) locally into the amygdala (AMG) would maintain sexual behavior in male rats given systemic Fadrozole to eliminate E(2) elsewhere in the brain. Gonadally intact male rats were divided into two matched groups, based on ejaculatory performance in weekly tests with receptive females. All males received 0.29 mg/kg/day sc Fadrozole and bilateral implants to AMG. E(2)-in-AMG males (N=6 experimentals) received implants tipped with a cured mixture of E(2) in Silastic Medical Adhesive, whereas Vehicle-in-AMG males (N=6 controls) received implants tipped with cured adhesive alone (without E(2)). In E(2)-in-AMG males, postoperative mount and intromission frequency did not differ significantly from pretreatment baseline levels, but ejaculation frequency declined significantly (P<.01). Conversely, in Vehicle-in-AMG males, postoperative mounts and intromissions (P<.01) and ejaculations (P<.01) declined significantly. Postoperative mount and intromission frequency of Vehicle-in-AMG males was significantly lower than that of E(2)-in-AMG males (P<.01), but ejaculation frequency did not differ significantly between groups. This suggests that E(2)-sensitive AMG neurons are important for sexual arousal but not ejaculatory performance. ?In E(2)-in-AMG males, postoperative mount and intromission frequency did not differ significantly from pretreatment baseline levels, but ejaculation frequency declined significantly (P<.01)? To me this speaks directly to what Jack refers to as ?Ejaculation Compulsion.? This study suggests that when the amygdalae and related pleasure centers of the brain are properly stimulated (as I believe they are through the Key Sound), ejaculation is no longer an essential component of sexual pleasure and satisfaction. And it appears that the rats agree! Seeing as the rats had no reason to ?hold back? or otherwise attempt to refrain from ejaculation, and yet frequently engaged in and completed copulation without ejaculation, it seems reasonable to speculate that they were experiencing orgasmic satisfaction in some other form. Hmmm.... Looking forward to hearing comments on this one! |

Hello Pan, Some very interesting results there. But it's not surprising that most mammals have so much in common with each other. However, I think I remember reading in one of your other posts that you are also into associated aspects of male sexuality such as brainwave entrainment, Aneros and, of course, amigdalae clicking. I'm fairly advanced on the first two but I seem to be stuck on the clicking forwards. I've got Neil Slade's book and CD on the subject and, while I've by-passed some of the most infants-school items on his training syllabus, I've taken seriously most of his instructions. Although I think I can now "feel" the location and presence of my amigdalae and I'm sure there is a significant enhancement in my KSMMO practices when I endeavour to engage them, but I've never heard anything in my head that resembles a "click". The book is very light on describing the actual clicking sound so could you tell me what your impression of it is, svp? I would also be interested in your own general experiences of amigdalae clicking. Mog |

And that?s why I find it so interesting that this study seems to confirm what Jack has always said, that males can engage in intercourse and enjoy feelings of satisfaction without approaching a Point of No Return or experiencing a need to ejaculate. > >However, I think I remember >reading in one of your other >posts that you are also into >associated aspects of male >sexuality such as brainwave >entrapment, Aneros and, of >course, amigdalae clicking. Yes, I do use Brainwave Entrainment (mainly the ?Ecstasy? CD, by Kelly Howell at www.brainsync.com), the Aneros, and of course, I?m a big fan of Amygdala Clicking. > >I'm fairly advanced on the >first two but I seem to be >stuck on the clicking >forwards. I also discarded most of Neil?s instructions from ?Frontal Lobes Supercharge.? I think the most important aspect of learning to Click Forward is the ?Feather Technique? visualization exercise that he describes. I simply practiced that visualization relentlessly until I began to actually feel pleasurable sensations in my Amygdalae. Once that happened, I learned how to Click Forward through physical sensation alone. A couple tips I can offer is: 1. Remember that pleasant smells help your amygdalae click forward naturally. So I suggest finding a particular essential oil that you find especially pleasant, and keep it with you. When you want to practice clicking forward, take a quick whiff from the bottle first. I personally used Lavender for this purpose for the first 6 months that I was learning to Click Forward, and found it very helpful. It also begins to serve as sensory anchor. As you begin to experience more pleasurable sensations while clicking forward, you?ll associate them with the smell of the essential oil. So eventually, the smell alone could cause you to click forward without any effort. 2. I personally found it?s easiest to Click Forward when I?m both relaxed and aroused. So good times to do it are when I?m resting in bed, getting ready to fall asleep, fantasizing, or watching erotic entertainment. I have also found a great time to practice Clicking Forward is during my KSMO sessions, after I?ve already been experiencing multiple orgasms for awhile. I find that it dramatically intensifies the experience and the associated positive emotions as well. However, I would only recommend this for experienced KSMO practitioners, since it?s important to have full awareness of subtle feelings and sensations while first learning to become multi-orgasmic through the Key Sound practice. > >Although I think I can now >"feel" the location and >presence of my amigdalae and >I'm sure there is a >significant enhancement in my >KSMMO practices when I >endeavour to engage them, but >I've never heard anything in >my head that resembles a >"click". Well, it?s a funny thing, but as far as I know, the legendary ?clicking? sound is actually just a unique phenomena that a few people have experienced while Clicking Forward. It?s not by any means an indication of success or failure. I have been Clicking Forward for about 2 years now and I?ve had some amazing feelings and experiences, but none of them ever involved any kind of internal ?clicking,? sounds. > >The book is very light on >describing the actual clicking >sound so could you tell me >what your impression of it is, >svp? Sure. I really don?t think it?s relevant to the practice of Amygdala Clicking. Neil Slade explained this in a couple newsletters last year. I think he regrets having mentioned it in the book at all, because it?s been rather misleading for people, who otherwise are doing very well in their practices. My advice is to simply focus on whatever positive feelings and sensations you may experience while Clicking Forward. They are your best indicator of how well you are doing. > >I would also be interested in >your own general experiences >of amigdalae clicking. > Wow, I?m not sure where to begin. LOL. Well let?s see, I guess I?ll start by saying that in my experience, the best thing about Amygdala Clicking is it?s sheer versatility as it applies to sexual pleasure. Not only is it a stand alone technique for achieving a state of continuous orgasm, it can also be applied to enhance and intensify every other form of sexual activity I can think of. Since I often combined Clicking Forward with other activities (KSMO, Prostate Stimulation, Brainwave Entrainment, etc), it?s difficult to separate and describe all the ways in which it has enhanced my life. But to give some idea what it?s like for people who have never done it, I will try to describe experiences in which I use Amygdala Clicking primarily by itself. So I guess I?ll start with what it feels like. For me, Clicking Forward begins with subtle pleasurable tingling sensations in two places inside my head (my two Amygdalae). As I continue to focus on this sensation, it intensifies and the tingling transforms into a continual feeling of pleasure that I can only describe as ?orgasmic.? The longer I continue to focus on the pleasurable sensations in my amygdalae, the more intense the feeling of orgasm becomes. And at the same time, the feeling of orgasm begins to build in my genitals, with or without erection or physical stimulation. The genital orgasm itself, feels very much like a prostatic orgasm, and I frequently will notice ?pre-cum? dripping out of my penis as I continue Clicking Forward, even if I never develop an erection. As I continue Clicking Forward, the effect continues to intensify until I literally feel as though I?m ?cumming from three places at once,? (the 2 specific locations of my amygdalae, and of course, my genitals). Of course, there?s more to it than just orgasmic pleasure. There?s an emotional high that comes with Amygdala Clicking that?s hard to describe. It?s like a mix of positive emotions all happening at once - joy, love, elation, and exhilaration. In my experience, Clicking Forward is something like a game. The longer I focus on Clicking Forward, the more intense the orgasmic sensations become, until sooner or later, I simply feel overwhelmed by the pleasure and lose my focus. After a bit, I?m able to regain my focus and continue Clicking Forward again. I typically spend anywhere from 15 minutes to a couple hours in this continuous state of orgasm without ever moving a muscle. And that, in essence, is how it feels when I?m Clicking Forward. Of course, there?s a wide variety of experiences that can be enjoyed when it?s applied to KSMO, or Prostate Stimulation, etc. But that has been the essence of my experience with Clicking forward thus far. I hope that helps to shed some more light on the subject and I hope you?ll feel free to share some of your experiences as well! Best of Luck, Pan :-) > |

Hi Pan, and thanks for your excellent reply. >Yes, I do use Brainwave Entrainment (mainly the ?Ecstasy? CD, by Kelly Howell at www.brainsync.com), the Aneros, and of course, I?m a big fan of Amygdala Clicking.< The "Ecstacy" CD is glorious sound and I find it exciting and very effective in raising my arousal level. I also use the Holosync "Awakening" and also the "Digital Drug" CDs. The latter is waveform patterns only but I find that it bends my mind like none other. (I hope it's safe!) >I also discarded most of Neil?s instructions from ?Frontal Lobes Supercharge.? I think the most important aspect of learning to Click Forward is the ?Feather Technique? visualization exercise that he describes. I simply practiced that visualization relentlessly until I began to actually feel pleasurable sensations in my Amygdalae. Once that happened, I learned how to Click Forward through physical sensation alone.< Yes, I find that the feather imagery works for me too, particularly if I think about two large fluffy yellow ones<g>. (I couldn't find anything helpful in an alternatively suggested concept of focussing the energy of the entire universe upon one's two poor little amygdalae!) >A couple tips I can offer is:< Thanks for those excellent suggestions. You seem to have achieved considerable results with the forward clicking. I hope I can get there, too. I do tend to forget about my amygdalae during the extreme sensations of a good KSMO session - I'll have to try to remember that they are inside there and might benefit from continued cosseting. When I do remember about them and apply a bit of mental effort I do begin to feel a pleasurable sense of presence or "fullness" in my frontal lobes and I feel that my KSMOs are enhanced accordingly. >Well, it?s a funny thing, but as far as I know, the legendary ?clicking? sound is actually just a unique phenomena that a few people have experienced while Clicking Forward. It?s not by any means an indication of success or failure. I have been Clicking Forward for about 2 years now and I?ve had some amazing feelings and experiences, but none of them ever involved any kind of internal ?clicking,? sounds.< Mmmm. >I really don?t think it?s [the audible clicking] relevant to the practice of Amygdala Clicking. Neil Slade explained this in a couple newsletters last year. I think he regrets having mentioned it in the book at all, because it?s been rather misleading for people, who otherwise are doing very well in their practices.< I didn't see those newsletters. I won't concern myself about it then. >And that, in essence, is how it feels when I?m Clicking Forward.< Thank you for your fascinating account of your impressions of your practice of amygdalae stimulation. I'm specially interested in your conviction that the Clicking Forward can be a powerful and versatile practice in its own right. But I also concur with your observation that both you and I, having been substantially re-wired by the KSMO, it probably would be impossible now for us to separate out the singular merits of Clicking Forward. But that doesn't really matter any more. > I hope that helps to shed some more light on the subject and I hope you?ll feel free to share some of your experiences as well!< Willingly. I'll come back with my Clicking results (if, or if not, successful). Mog. |

Hi Mog, While reviewing your posts I came across this reference to working with the "amygdala". I checked one of Slade's web pages: http://www.viewzone.com/brain.magic.html When I mentally located my amygdala, waves of pleasurable energy started pulsing there immediately. It is a familiar sensation, especially lately with my new KS practice. It is empowering to have a name for that area and an idea of how to move that energy that is so pleasurable. Bewell |

Hello again Bewell, >When I mentally located my amygdala, waves of pleasurable energy started pulsing there immediately. It is a familiar sensation, especially lately with my new KS practice. It is empowering to have a name for that area and an idea of how to move that energy that is so pleasurable.< I would think that the experience you had already built up in your MMO practices had already tuned up your amygdalaes' sensitivities, maybe without you having been conciously aware of it. It's, nevertheless, interesting that you have quickly established the connection between MMO practice and the boost that "Forward Clicking" can give to it. As an independent excercise I've put quite a bit of serious practice towards locating, feeling and excercising my amygdalae but I can't say that I have felt that my general feelings of well-being and contentment of mind have yet been enhanced significantly (not that I was having any trouble with these before I started!) Maybe I have more to do there. In blending the Forward Clicking into my multiples sessions my mind is usually so engrossed in the excitement of the extraordinary orgasmic sensations that I completely forget about my amygdalae, as I do about most other worldly matters. But sometimes I do remember to bring them in, usually during the build-up to the orgasmic release, and I do then find that I'm given a substantial boost to the rate of increase of sexual energy and also to the amount of energy that is finally released into the orgasm. While this is happening I usually experience an extra sensation of "fullness" in my frontal lobes. So it seems that Forward Clicking works for me in my MMOs. However, I've never heard in my brain anything that resembles a "click". But Pan says that this is generally the case and the clicking sound is not experienced by all practitioners. Mog |

For myself, I have found that going on for several months now, I have been experiencing continuous stimulation of my temples, and over the past few weeks this area of stimulation has grown across my forehead and up to near the top of my head. I find there is nothing disconcerting about this, its like I?m having a slow motion mmo, like there is some kind of neural re-mapping going on. I have decided to wait for this stimulation to subside before continuing with ksmo, and for some reason my intuition tells me that this will happen towards the end of April. If I have anything to add to this, I would say that with this ongoing stimulation I have been experiencing, for the first time in years, a feeling youthfulness, and I find I experience more spontaneous joy during my day. |

Hi Mog, It has been a month since I first tried "clicking forward." Soon after I wrote that post, when I was between sleep and awake, I heard several clicks and felt a kind of shift away from the fear anger part of myself toward the pleasure part, and I thought, "I heard it." That was the only time though. During that month, I switched jobs. I bake bread. I moved from a bakery that is heavy on fear/anger issues, to a bakery where there is more of an atmosphere of respect. Synchronicity, cause and effect? Who can say. Writing this, I am aware of the amygdala area of my brain. But over the past week or so, I've been far more aware of energy in the area behind my nose and in my eyebrow center (maybe that includes my amygdala, I'm not sure. It is close). Anyway, I am having sort of like nose orgasms where my nostrals flair in a pulsing pattern in energetic dialogue with the plusing in my reproductive area. Can I get a witness? Anyone else notice the same? Bewell |

>Anyway, I am having sort of like nose orgasms where my nostrals flair in a pulsing pattern in energetic dialogue with the plusing in my reproductive area. Can I get a witness? Anyone else notice the same?< The Nosegasms? Yes, I get those. Not in each and every orgasmic cycle but in the best of them. They come, entirely spontaneously, sometimes pulsing, sometimes not, in the high-arousal phase of the orgasmic cycle and for me they are an indicator of the intensity of things to come in the orgasm and afterglow. I haven't done a search but I remember reading others' comments on them. Often they accompany one of my displays of light (eyes closed) which I get when I'm being taken to an ever-higher level of extreme sensation. But a nosegasm, for me, is not a "primary" orgasmic sensation of the kind that comes from the groin. It's just a pleasant secondary phenomenon which adds its own little extra bit to the overall feelings. I never had Nosegasms before learning the KSMO. They came as a complete surprise. But I have seen a woman experience flared nostrils during her masterbation. Would any ladies present care to comment? Mog. |

>Soon after I wrote that post, when I was between sleep and awake, I heard several clicks and felt a kind of shift away from the fear anger part of myself toward the pleasure part, and I thought, "I heard it." That was the only time though.< Interesting! According to what I've read the small reptilian part of the brain has mainly a "survival" function which handles emotions such as "flight or fight" getting food and water etc, also harbouring anger, bad thoughts and discontent. The amygdalae, together with Forward Clicking can switch this part off and re-direct thoughts into the frontal lobes which deal with all things nice and good. I seem to have some difficulty in accessing this part(grin). If you have heard a distinct "click" during the switching you might be one in a thousand! If these clicks are generated inside the brain there seems to be no reason why they should not be heard with a spatial or stereo character, is there? Mog |
