Default Chatbox Transcript 23rd November 2008

Session start: Sun Nov 16 00:26:08 2008
Jack> Latest chat transcript is available here : Multiple Orgasm Trigger(tm) Discussion ChatBox Transcript of 20081115
Jack> ***** Welcome to the Multiple Orgasm Trigger Training and Discussion Forum™ of 20081116 hosted personally by Jack Johnston MA
Laly> Hi froog, welcome.
Jack> Hi froog! Warm Welcome from me too!
Jack> froog, to participate in the chat all you need to do once you're logged in (which you already are) just type in the white box just above where you see the ChatBox transcript appearing (such as this sentence) and click the OK button to the right of it.
Laly> seems to be reading the earlier chat transcript jack.
Jack> Yep I saw that. No worries. :)
Jack> I went to his visitor area and posted a Welcome note.
Laly> okay.
Laly> want to wait to see if anyone else shows up or ??
Jack> If you want to talk, you're welcome to the Talking Stick, then if froog checks in here perhaps you can pause and we'll give him a chance, eh?
Laly> k
Laly> in the afternoon chat- I resonated with Stoki as to what he was feeling
Laly> regarding not parcticing
Laly> practicing
Jack> Are you still typing? I didn't see any terminal punctuation, and didn't want to interrupt you.
Laly> debating on how to say what I am feeling jack, sorry.
Jack> No worries, take your time.
Laly> As you mentioned in the earlier chat-I've made significant steps of progress re: my recovery
Laly> but there is also a part of me that is worried as well...
Laly> a terror feeling or fur ball maybe coming up.
Jack> Yeah that's not uncommon - especially after taking such a great leap forward in your recovery.
Jack> It can be a good time to just relax for a while, nurture yourself, and not push your practice. Give your whole system a chance to integrate your tremendous gains.
Laly> *takes deep breath n releases
Laly> yeah...i havent actively practiced in a year- i believe.
Laly> what happened at the MMi workshop ...the visions i got, all the emotions invovled
Laly> i didnt expect all that.
Jack> Once again that theme of: When you least expect it. :)
Laly> yeah...
Laly> it was hard- because we were asked a few times-- to give out 10 hugs, 20 hugs
Laly> heart to heart ones-- which was extremely hard for me
Laly> physically touching a stranger -- in that way.
Jack> For sure!
Jack> Just remember that in exercises like that, it's also an opportunity
Jack> for you to CHOOSE which strangers you are willing to hug. The MOST IMPORTANT part of the exercise in my view is for you to practice GETTING TO CHOOSE since that's what was stolen from you when you were abused.
Jack> Some workshop leaders will try to push you to hug or whatever with people you don't want to but I STRONGLY disagree with that.
Jack> If they try to tell you to do it any way it's an opportunity
Laly> I don't think-- and this is just my perception-- that this wasn't even considered
Laly> consideration of rape/incest issues with some people.
Jack> for you to assert yourself with the leader and tell THEM NO! I get to CHOOSE now, and practicing THAT is far more important to my growth and recovery at this time.
Laly> or just plain discomfort.
Jack> That's right. What you just said, so it's an opportunity for you to CLAIM your recovery more publicly and give THEM the opportunity to get off their high horse and learn something from YOU. Some will and some won't. If they get pushy about it, you can tell them you will give them ONE chance to back off, and if they don't, you're outta there. Sometimes walking out can also be an act of recovery.
Laly> well I intend on raising the issue with them.
Jack> Some with try to - as the expression goes - mindfuck you in situations like that, to reinforce their authority in front of the group. But tough sh*t!
Jack> [ Welcome Ageless!!! ]
Laly> hi ageless!
Laly> i raised that question with Drew.
Ageless> Hi Jack, and Laly and froog
Jack> I said with instead of will but will leave it in cuz it's what they're trying to m/f you with.
Jack> Ageless has a ton of experience with a wide range of gurus so he might have a point of view about this as well.
Laly> *chuckling-- i saw that jack :).
Jack> Hey that's great that you're going to raise the issue, Laly. That takes a lot of guts. I hope you'll ask Drew to support your point of view in that.
Jack> And I hope he will.
Laly> i will jack.
Laly> well i saw a few people who hesitated as well jack
Ageless> I am going to take a minute to go back and read what is going on.
Jack> When you raised the issue with Drew, how did he respond?
Laly> so I am not only speaking for me, but those people as well.
Laly> i havent spoken to him about it yet.
Jack> That's right!
Jack> < re: for those other people as well.
Jack> The thing is, if somebody's just hesitant because they have a shyness or whatever AND they CHOOSE to work on that, that is one thing, but to be forced or pressured or shamed into is NOT ok with me and you can tell them I said so! :) GRRRRRRRR
Jack> It IS a recovery opportunity for you to practice defending yourself and your right to CHOOSE, by practicing ahead of time, maybe role playing it with Drew for example. But go slowly with that, cuz it can trigger you and you want to take it REAL EASY with stuff like that. But it IS good practice
Jack> to learn how to stick up for yourself. To find your own voice in being able to protect yourself.
Jack> There are women's groups that practice that very thing... but I think that might still be a bit much for you. Your abuse was so extensive that you need to take that VERY gently with yourself. And it's OK if you just say fugitaboudit.
Laly> yeah...he is very supportive.
Jack> EXCELLENT!
Jack> I'd expect no less of him! :)
Jack> Hey how about we pass the Talking Stick to Ageless and give him a chance to check in?
Laly> sure.
Jack> Likewise to froogle if s/he is interested in chatting. May just want to watch since a total newbie.
Jack> But froogle you're VERY welcome to chime in, any time!
Jack> Hey Ageless, how ya doin'?
Ageless> Laly -- Jack is right on. It was WRONG for your worshop leader to ask you to hug everyone. At the workshops I go to,with starngers, every hug is preceeded with a "may I hug you." A no is a no. You in turn have the right, no obligation, to yourself to not hug anyone that you have even the faintist discomforts about hugging. To say no is being true to yourself. And always out yourself as number ONE and most important.
Jack> Hey Laly, Listen to our Wise Sage! :)
Jack> Thanks Ageless for your unequivocal support on that. I sense you feel
Jack> as strongly as I do about that.
Ageless> Just practicing saying "no" will be healing
Jack> I can remember being LITERALLY nose to nose with certain workshop leaders about that issue. And I did NOT back down.
Ageless> Go out of your way to do it a few times. Feel your power when you do it.
Laly> Ageless that is what surprised me-- that they didnt say that "may i hug you" comment
Jack> Yep that's not unusual, Laly.
Laly> but the general impress from the room was -- it was required.
Ageless> Jack is right Laly -- don't back down! The leader is off base and is dead wrong.
Jack> Some people become workshop leaders totally self-anointed without guidance, supervision, or empathy training.
Laly> I dint go and hug anyone-- i was just too uncomfortable.
Jack> Yeah that feeling of required is FASCISM. That's what leads to... well you know from history where that leads.
Laly> but did allow people to hug me.
Laly> yeah jack.
Jack> GOOD FOR YOU LALY. WAY TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!
Jack> One thing you can explore practicing with Drew a LITTLE bit and ONLY a LITTLE at a time, is to practice saying to
Ageless> LALY __ DON"T EVER HUG SOMEONE IF IT FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE. TRust your body and intuition.
Jack> a role-played leader and with a strong voice that your most important goal for growth is to claim your voice to say NO! And that NO MEANS NO!!!
Jack> Yeah to what Ageless said and you can call upon our spirits - Ageless' and mine - to be their right with you in full support!
Laly> thanks- I did hug drew...but as I did burst into tears and would have collapsed had he not had a hold of me.
Jack> Yep and that's totally fine that that is as far as you went.
Jack> Remember that peer pressure to try to force people to go along with the crowd is FASCISM... AUTHORITARIANISM.
Laly> yeah.
Jack> Claim your right to INFORMED and COMPLETELY MUTUAL consent.
Laly> :).
Laly> even with Drew I ask if he'd like a hug
Laly> or vice versa-if he'd hug me
Laly> when I am feeling need for one.
Jack> Right on! Speaking of... Hi Drew!
Laly> (hi Drew)
Drew> Are my ears burning?
Lava> Hey, all! Can't stay, just wanted to say Hi! So... Hi!
Ageless> AS you get deeper into hugging or not hugging, take time to try to feel what those people you don't want to hug are feeling. For me, I don't want to hug angry people. It hurts to do so and is a shut down. And remember, You will start to pick up someone elses energy field(like anger) about 6 to 7 feet away from them. It will get strongeras you approach them. TRUST YOUR INTUITION AND DESIRES.
Lava> And Jack, I got the email about the blog thingie... not a problem on the wait.
Drew> Hi Lava!
Laly> re: ears- shouldnt be :).
Laly> welcome lava.
Ageless> Hi Drew
Lava> Hey, Drew. :-D
Lava> And Laly
Ageless> Hi Lava
Lava> About the hugging.... anyone who "forces" you to hug someone else, put them under Sitizen's Arrest for Aggravated Assault. They'll learn the lesson. :-D
Lava> "Citizen's"
Jack> Hey Lava thanks! Nice to see you show up, even briefly! I'll be in touch soon via email.
Lava> Hey, Ageless! I liked what you said about trusting your intuitions and desires... if you're not doing that, then you're not being tru to your soul's purpose.
Jack> Hey Lava, I like that Citizen's Arrest. Do the same for the workshop leader while you're at it, eh! GRRRRRR!
Lava> typing in the dark is not proving fruitful. :p I'm exhauseted --- taught an 8-hour Vocal Boot Camp.... I'm done in.
Lava> Aas for the Workshop Leader, I might accidentally body slam him.... oops, is my Irish showing?
Jack> Well take care of yourself, Lava... and it's a special treat to have you here, if only for a little while!
Drew> Vocal Boot Camp... I'm intrigued!
Jack> All Hail the Fiery One, Queen Lava!!!
Jack> Yeah please say more about it Lava, if you have the juice left to write a short snippet.
Ageless> Ya, what is a vocal boot camp
Lava> voice lessons sans molten outbursts
Lava> :D
Drew> Ooh, that sounds 'interesting'
Lava> so anyhoo...... I'm going to go get my meditation CD's out, and fall asleep.... hads lots of "weird" dreams lately, more so than usual.... sexual in nature, but I can't type tonight.... too many wrong letters jumping into my pristine words.
Drew> I'd love to have a vocal coach
Jack> Ok, Lava, thanks!
Drew> Sweet dreams, Lava!
Lava> it's good to have training if you do any kind of public speaking, or even large amounts of speaking on a daily basis.
Lava> So, take care all.... and I'll learn the blog thingie soon.
Drew> Yep, that's why I want it.
Jack> Yes Lava, I promise to help you with that, REAL SOON!
Ageless> Take care Lava -- and thanks for sharing.
Laly> sweet dreams lava-- feel free to email me about the blog
Jack> Drew were the Arthur Joseph materials of any benefit?
Lava> no prob.... I'm working with the Salvation Army right now... this week will be crazy, so don't rush on my acount...
Lava> Thanks everybody! Sweet dreams!
Jack> Laly I wanted to reserve teaching lava cuz I want to record the lesson and convert it to a teaching session I'll post to the Forum.
Drew> Yes, very informative... I need to do the exercises more frequently though.
Jack> Thanks for offering though, Laly!
Laly> Oh ok Jack
Lava> Lava the Guinea Pig? ;)
Jack> Yeah it does seem intriguing, Drew: www.vocalawareness.com
Jack> He sure has some stellar testimonials from Hollywood!
Laly> np jack...
Drew> yep!
Jack> Yes, Lava the Fire-Breathing Guinea Pig! LOL :D
Jack> KALI MA!
Jack> PELE ALOHA!
Lava> HAHA.... okay.... L8R G8RZ. Cya next time around!
Jack> Hey Lava have you ever been to the Big Island of Hawaii?
Jack> (I know you gotta go, but I had to ask).
Lava> Nope... always wanted to..... But thought the Morrigan might come after me for changing sides.
Drew> IMO, his work highly collarates to KSMO
Jack> Yeah Drew it really impressed me that way too, from reading his materials, Since he gets down in that lower register.
Jack> He too knows that that's where the power is!
Laly> (before I say something offending without meaning to- i think i will head out too )
Lava> <sorry... that was an obscure Irish goddess reference>
Jack> Lava was just wondering if you'd actually stood at the edge of the live volcano in Hawaii that Pele energy would REALLY get to you I'm sure. It sure did for me!!!
Jack> LOL re: Morrigan.
Lava> you proably don't rmember my dream I wrote about in chat one time, about walking on the lava rocks as they were bubbling around...
Lava> that's as close as I've come to it.... you said at the time it sounded shamanic...
Lava> and I agree....
Lava> so I can wait to visit the "real thing"...
Jack> Oh if you could dig up the link to that after you've had some sleep I'd sure appreciate it. I want to mark it as a Gold Nugget, Lava!
Jack> The ONLY time I've ever ridden in a helicopter I flew right over the Kilauea vent and the pilot tipped the chopper so I could see right down her throat,
Lava> yeah... wish I could type more now about the dreams I've been having lately.... and been finding feathers... between the physicality of the sexual dreams and the spirituality of the feathers and signs of transformation, something's happening...
Jack> and when I did she BURPED a gush of Lava and I wanna tell you THAT was about MY limit!!! WHOA what power. The day I arrived in Hawaii to teach a week long workshop at the Body Electric School, she had the biggest eruption she'd had in several decades. I was drunk on her energy the whole week.
Jack> That's great Lava! Get some rest and then talk to us! :)
Lava> will do...a dios fur real. Be safe all!
Lava> "a dios" ---- "to the gods?
Jack> You too! BFN!
Jack> AND SWEET DREAMS!
Lava> my Freudian slip is slowing...
Lava> and showing
Lava> bye
Drew> Bye Lava!
Jack> Glad to see the slowing part!
Jack> Glad to hear from your subconscious that you're backin' off the throttle just a wee bit.
Jack> Whew, great high energy chat! Does anyone have anything else they'd like to share or discuss?
Ageless> Just noticed I am no longer listed in the user box, I think I am still here.
Jack> LOL yeah Ageless that listing thing is buggy. It disappears you if you don't type in. It's confusing but vbmtor hasn't fixed it for some reason. He may need it like that for chats where there are huge numbers of people watching like at gamers' sites. As long as YOU know you're here, and you show as logged in to the Forum, you're good to go!
Ageless> OK -- now I am back
Drew> < gets logged out periodically.
Jack> Drew do you actually get logged out of the Forum itself and have to manually log back in, or do you just disappear from the list at the bottom of the ChatBox then reappear later?
Drew> The former
Drew> although, it hasn't happened tonight (so far)
Jack> If system keeps asking you to log back in with password, etc. Remember to check the Remember Me box.
Jack> It's a design flaw vBulletin team has been too lazy to fix, I guess. I reported it a LONG time ago.
Drew> < I don't want to do that
Jack> They're great programmers with powerful software, but as you've noticed, their usability design (or lack of it) REALLY SUX.
Jack> The Remember Me cookie goes away when you log out. The cookie gets cleared.
Jack> At least I think it does. I'm testing that now.
Drew> OK
Jack> Hmmm maybe not.
Jack> I just logged out and logged back in and DIDN'T click the Remember Me box, and so far it hasn't asked me to log back in.
Drew> Thought so.
Jack> In previous versions it was asking me to log back in every time I pressed the Enter key!
Drew> What about quitting your browser?
Jack> Oh well, I guess you'll just have to live with it that way.
Jack> Don't know, you can test that if you want. I have a number of browser windows open and can't close them all right now to check, but feel free to test that and let me know by email. Thanks!
Jack> Ok, is there anything else anyone would care to discuss this evening?
Ageless> One quick note --
Drew> I would, but I can't... It is 'too personal' (and involves someone else).
Jack> Sure!
Ageless> I went to a 5 day workshop where many of us were regressed to work on earlier issues.
Ageless> That ended last Tuesday night. I had trouble getting back into feelig the pleasures. Its back now, and maybe even stronger.
Ageless> Orogress until then has been slow but steady.
Ageless> TRy "progress"
Ageless> Pleasures just keep getting stronger and more widely spread.
Jack> That's GREAT, Ageless!
Jack> RE: Your subconscious OROgress... That's a very cool gift: Oro means GOLD yes?
Jack> We are SO conditioned to DISCOUNT those gifts, even taught to label them as slips when in fact they are GIFTS!
Jack> :D
Ageless> Back with you. My connection was lost
Ageless> Its a kick just to observe the rewiring.
Jack> No worries, Ageless!
Ageless> :)
Jack> Drew, re: private... feel free to contact me by email or skype or phone, if you care to. You're ALWAYS welcome to!
Ageless> My rewiring -- not the computers
Jack> Yeah that TRULY is GREAT, Ageless!
Jack> You ROCK, Dude!
Drew> Thanks Jack!
Jack> You're quite welcome Drew, as always!
Ageless> Its time for me to sign off to. Bye everyone for now.
Drew> < just got logged out.
Ageless> I was to Drew
Jack> Ok, Ageless, wishing you all the best! Is a cyberhug ok?
Ageless> YOU BET JACK -- and one back to you.
Jack> <<Ageless>> :D
Jack> Thanks!
Drew> Night Ageless!
Jack> Anything else you'd care to discuss in channel, Drew?
Ageless> Jack, I am still fuming over that group leader who was forcing people to hug. He was telling the members to ignore their feelings. That Sucks
Ageless> Bye for now.
Drew> I think 'forcing' is a little strong
Jack> Yeah I hear you. You could write him a letter, even anonymously, and let him know that there's a possibility he could get prosecuted for that (depending on the State). Not a threat, but just a heads up.
Jack> How so, Drew?
Jack> That is, if you care to discuss it here.
Drew> Well, I'm late on the conversation and don't know all that was said before.
Jack> Bye Ageless! Wishing all the very best, always all ways!
Jack> Drew the prior discussion from THIS chat is still in the temporary Archives,
Drew> thanks.
Jack> I think that's where it still is, until next Saturday. I think we were discussing it in this chat. If not, it'll be the most recent chat posted to the [url]I think that's where it still is, until next Saturday. I think we were discussing it in this chat. If not, it'll be the most recent chat posted to the ChatBox SubForum
Jack> Is there anything else you'd care to discuss about that, or anything else?
Jack> How're you doing?
Drew> Truthfully, I'm having a rough go of it.
Drew> I'm in some kind of 'spiritual transformation'... It's not pretty at times.
Drew> I haven't had a 'practice' session in a while either.
Jack> Re-Birth pangs, eh?
Drew> This is fairly normal at this time of the year... It's getting pretty nippy in these parts.
Drew> Yeah, that's a pretty good description I think.
Jack> Yes, as we approach Soulstice (my favorite way of ahem spelling... it), it's the opportune time to look inward. What kinds of inner practices are you doing to take care of yourself?
Drew> That's a great question!
Drew> I'm not sure that I have been.
Drew> and it's the disconnection from my inner self which is causing me to freak out.
Drew> I feel better when I exericse
Drew> eat healthily
Drew> read or listen to 'spiritual' books
Drew> what I need to do most is stay connected to myself and feel ALL of my feelings
Drew> even the really scary ones
Drew> and find the calm and peace within.
Jack> Yeah... that all sounds good! And to keep ASKING for Guidance... and then LISTEN... to dreams, synchronistic events, including chance encounters, wild ideas, etc.
Drew> I have so many thoughts that are knocking me 'off-kilter'
Jack> What just occurred to me when you said knocking is that they may be knocking on your door!
Drew> Perhaps
Jack> You might benefit from one or a few of my Calmposting(tm) sessions.
Jack> You'd prolly like it. It's quite Ericksonian - and shamanic.
Jack> Working Hypothesis: Fear is unclaimed power.
Jack> That's the shamanic point of view.
Jack> As unclaimed power, Fear is OPPORTUNITY.
Drew> Hmmmm.... Interesting
Jack> Fear tends to have a lot on energy in it. A lot of inner-ji.
Jack> Hmmmmm is a very good beginning! ;)
Jack> A trance-derivational search. :)
Jack> If you're interested, just let me know and we can schedule a phone/skype session.
Drew> Yeah, I'm searching alright!
Jack> I'd be happy to work with you on the issue. The Calmposting™ is non-linear and metaphorical. As such it bypasses a lot of the left-brain mind noise.
Drew> Hmmmmm.... Again!
Jack> You know where and how to find me.
Jack> I can give you more details by phone. Just let me know.
Jack> Anything else for this evening?
Drew> OK thanks, I really appreciate it.
Jack> You're quite welcome. As always all ways!
Drew> Not sure... I saw your e-mail regarding software.
Drew> I can't participate until I get my hands on an INTEL-based Mac
Jack> Not sure about what, specifically?
Jack> Oh re: The usability stuff. Right!
Drew> Not sure if there is anything else for this evening.
Jack> Ok... How sure do you need to be?
Drew> Even with an Intel-based Mac... It'll be a cold day in h*ll before I... Well, yanno.
Jack> Not sure that I do!
Jack> In fact, I'm sure that I don't! :D
Drew> (infect my hard drive with the virus from Redmond)
Jack> LOL understood! No worries, eh.
Jack> It can just be a conversation.
Drew> Does it work under virtualization?
Jack> Well I need to get going. Let me know if you'd like to schedule a Calmposting™ session to reclaim that energy that's bound up in what you're currently labeling as fear. ;)
Jack> What do you mean by virtualization?
Drew> OK
Drew> My sense is that I'm in a process of learning how to process energy in my body.
Jack> Below the neck?
Drew> Parallels or (can't remember the name of the other solution)
Jack> Right... the usability software actually runs using Boot Camp, using Leopard OS. Too much overhead to run in Parallels since running Parallels really loads the CPU and resources running two OS's simultaneously.
Drew> Oh, it's VMWare.
Drew> I see
Jack> Morae / UserVue is designed for the WinXP OS, but fortunately it DOES run very well, according to the Techsmith techs on WinXP in Boot Camp.
Jack> But like I said, we can just do a phone chat about your suggestions for the site. I'm looking at Joomla as a content mgmt system. It can be interfaced with vBulletin.
Jack> Add some nice bells and whistles like Video guides, podcasts, that sort of thing.
Drew> what does that do?
Jack> What does what do?
Drew> Joomla.
Jack> Here's one example
Jack> You can watch the video explanations near the top of that page.
Drew> OK
Jack> That template can be customized and then the vBulletin content can be fed into it via RSS feeds and the like. Will make the site Web 2.0.
Jack> Well, Jackie's calling me to dinner. I'd better get going.
Jack> Just let me know by email if you'd like more details about a Calmposting™ session.
Jack> Will s/w/u later. Thanks very much for being the chat tonight, and for sharing where you are!
Drew> YW... I was debating whether to pop in... I'm glad I did (as always).
Jack> Excellent! Well Done!!! :D
Jack> Cheers, eh!
