Re: KS Verification Service
Hey abelian (and anyone else needing help figuring out how to post your .mp3 sample for Key Sound™ validation and review by me personally), I'm glad to hear that you're taking the next step in learning this lifelong skill by posting your sample of the Key Sound for my review. Here are the steps.
I promise you that in the coming rebuild of the Forum layout, I will do my best to make this MUCH easier!
Meanwhile...
- Make sure you have logged in to the forum.
- Make sure that you are on the Home Page of the Forum. You can do this by clicking on the Peak Experience image (with the starburst) at the very top of every Forum page.
- Find the box JUST BELOW the ChatBox. It begins with red type that says: NEW SERVICE INCLUDED With your Forum Registration.
- Click the link that says Click Here to GET YOUR KEY SOUND™ ARTICULATION VALIDATED NOW
- Just below the two horizontal menu bars at the top you will now see a box that begins with: User's FREE Key Sound™ PRIVATE Validation Service Area.
- Give the instructions in that box a read, and at the bottom of that box is a link that says: Here's where you post your Key Sound™ articulation samples for my personal and private review.
- Click that link and scroll down below the ChatBox til on the left-hand side of the column you see a button marked New Thread.
- On the next page scroll down til you see the Post New Thread box.
- Give your post a title, and put some text in the Message box.
- Scroll down PAST the boxes labeled Tags, Trackback, Post Icons AND SKIP the Submit New Thread button.
- Just below the Submit New Thread button, and below the box labeled Miscellaneous Options, you'll see a box labeled Attach Files. Your file MUST be an .mp3 as described in the Instructions box that displayed previously.
- Click the Manage Attachments button and attach your .mp3 recording of your Key Sound™ articulation.
- Finally, click the Submit New Thread button, and the system will hopefully upload your .mp3 file to the server.
All that said, if you nevertheless have difficulty getting this done, send me an email with your phone number and the best time to call AND time zone, and I will call you and personally talk you through it.
This forum software is VERY powerful, but unfortunately the super-wizards who designed already know the design and how things work and it is admittedly NOT user-friendly. Likewise, they have NOT made it easy for a non-programmer such as I to customize it to make it more friendly.
In the near future I will be providing little videos to show you how to use the many features, and, over time, I will do all in my power to streamline the system.
The fallback is that if you need help, do NOT give up! Just let me know you need help and as I said before, I will do so!
Wishing you all the best!
Jack
