In my similiar situation, I went with the reactions and played them out so to speak. As Mog said, these reactions could be your body expressing a response to what was happening. So I would follow these reactions out to see where they go and if you feel uncomfortable with them or if they take your focus away from those feelings then I would stop them. Another example that I might offer you, is that I have on occasion felt like I should verbally moan. While this would be something I can "make" happen, it actually increases my arousal and allows me to experience more of those feelings.
