I tend to frame phenomena such as all of these examples including gender as based on a range, spectrum or even n-dimensional spectra.
That is the nature of fractal math which seems to model a good deal if not all of nature pretty well.

I very much agree.
My own view, which I have discussed on other Forums, is the spectrum is the best fit with the emerging scientific data and the personal stories one encounters.
The multi-polar model I mentioned in response to the earlier binaries, has been useful in discussions with some of those not ready to accept the spectrum the other Forums.
Oh no! I feel more Glossary definitions coming on...
