Default Re: Favorable first impressions

Hi Justn_Otherguy! Welcome to our community.

Tonight was my first session. I have done my best to follow Jack's Protocol as closely as possible, though I didn't monitor my session time and as a result, I believe I went over the 20 minute cutoff by a fair margin.
Don't sweat it. One of the key discoveries to this process is learning how to relax into to the Key Sound and relaxing into the Echoes that ensue. Jack's recommendation for a 20 minute session is so that new users don't create the impression that this process is in any way like traditional tension-oriented stimulation.. that being: "The more I push the closer I get!" KSMOs are most enjoyed when the body is released from this tension and in complete relaxation. When you read through the chat transcripts you will often read of the 'fawn' analogy.

KSMOs/Echoes are like frightened fawns. If you chase them they will flee. You must let the come to you.

. I'm a little concerned and even a bit guilty that I didn't time it closer to the recommended length, but the tingles were enjoyable even if they were nowhere near orgasm-level in intensity
Release your guilt and enjoy every pleasurable sensation you experience. It is a VERY GOOD thing that you had such an experience with 'the tingles' in your first attempt at this. Congratulations! Give yourself a pat on the back. That said, don't discount your Echoes as they are the guide to whole body multiple orgasms that Jack speaks of (and many others attest to) in his seminars and in this forum. Trust that with dedication, relaxation and patience the orgasms will come to you when your body is ready to experience them. Enjoy the ride along the way!

and I admit I was hoping they would increase even further if I continued.
From personal experience I know that as soon as I consciously acknowledge the feeling and attempt to will the intensity higher, they do the very opposite. Enjoy all pleasurable feelings and let them take you to your orgasms. With KSMOs your thinking mind wont take you there.. but you body will if you let it.

At no time during this session did I do any erotic stroking and I'm a little uncertain about when (or even if) I should begin doing so.
Do what you feel comfortable with. If you are experiencing Echoes without the gentle caress then play with that setting for a while until you feel that the gentle caress might be a fun thing to add.

Overall, I'd say I had a very positive first experience.
Awesome man. It's always great to see people acknowledging discovery with their very first step. Keep it up!

I'm really making an effort not to have any "mind noise."
Be careful of the thinking trap: I don't want to have any mind noise. The very focus of not wanting to have the noise IS noise in itself! Just relax and let go.

I'm also wondering what I should do with my Aneros. I have had the distinct impression I should leave it alone for at least a while, as I train myself to become aware of these new feelings.
I have no experience with Aneros but have read a few times that it is wise to separate the two. You can either set the Aneros down as you begin to rewire your body with KSMO or at the very least use the Aneros on days that you dont practice the KSMO. I would recommend you search the forum for posts by Pan or Mog who both have had great experiences with Aneros and with KSMO.

so I hope I was doing it correctly.
Correct Key Sound articulation is essential to your discovery and growth within this process. Lucky for us we get to 'hope' no longer. Jack has set up a FREE Key Sound Validation service where you can upload recorded samples of your Key Sound. He will then let you know if you are articulating correctly or not.

You can find more information about this service here:

Ok thats it from me. Congratulations and keep it up. You've made a fantastic start!

Lopez.
