My personal reply as a lay person is that I am not aware of such a relationship although it would make an interesting branch of research on this multiorgasmic phenomenon.

I would say however, that substances such as alcohol (at higher levels), or prescription drugs that in general are considered depressants, that is, that tend to attenuate neuron firing rates, might tend to impede the response.

I would likewise think that alcohol (and similar substances, including for example, cannabis) in lower amounts, to the degree that its ingestion may lead to overall relaxation, might result in enhancing the multiorgasmic response.

I'd appreciate everyone's thoughts and experiences on this angle of the issue as well!
