Angry Re: Skeptic to Believer - KSMO Success Story

Hi greyx and Jack!

I feel I ought to clarify my previous post to your thread, greyx.

(Mog)>It appears to be generally thought that the prostate can also be massaged remotely from the front of the lower stomach as well as in the usual place. My experience is that this is correct. So if the action of breathing can be made to involve motion of the stomach muscles so that the prostate’s involvement in the orgasmic process can be promoted, this can lead to more intense orgasmic results. This might also explain the erotic sensations that can result from controlled breathing. I can only surmise that the feeling of hollowness and depth that arises at one part of the breathing cycle accounts for the term.<

I should have made it clear that my observation here was outside the KSMO box – I agree that the Protocol’s practice should, of course, not involve trying to "make" anything happen.

(Mog)>Though I feel that the hollowness in the stomach coincides with the erotic in-breath into the high chest, not with the exhale.<

Having studied this more carefully in my sessions I feel that both inhale and exhale are gently promoting this apparent massage effect.

(Jack)>I'm unclear what you mean by controlled breathing... In my own practice I don't have a sense of controlled breathing, but rather just easy, relaxed breathing... It may be just that our operational definitions of what controlled breathing means!<

I agree. I don’t always think carefully enough about the words I choose. If for “controlled” you read “steady, unforced, unhurried, natural, with awareness” I think that would be better.

(Mog)>I don’t know if valley breathing works for women too, but if so, a different explanation would surely be required in their case!<

(Jack)>Oh... now I think I get your point - that is, in reference to massage of the prostate.<

Yes, that was my point<G>!

(greyx)>Would what I'm experiencing now be considered just naturally doing valley breathing as a consequence of correctly doing the key sound?<

(Mog)>I can’t vouch for precisely that connection.<

I pulled out of that one simply because I don’t think that I’m qualified to answer the question.

(Mog)>As KSMO training is best done without manual stimulation of any kind (apart from the limited initial amount described in the Protocol)<

(Jack)>I'm a little unsure of what you mean by initial but I agree to its use if you mean the little bit of stimulate at the beginning of each or near each round of Key Sound plus a few regular relaxing breaths.<

Yes, that’s what I was meaning.

(Mog)>…..it may be that this form of stimulation should not be engaged too enthusiastically.<

(Jack)>I'm not sure which "form of stimulation" you are cautioning about there.<

Apologies for the confusion. I was meaning deliberate and prolonged stimulation.

(Mog)>But there’s no doubt that valley breathing can enhance a mature KSMO practice.

(Jack)>…….that sentence could equivalently read: There's no doubt that use of the Key Sound may likewise enhance a mature KSMO practice.<

Agreed. That is a much better way of putting it!

(Jack)> I hope we're not trying to count angels on the head of a pin……<

There’s not really enough room for both of us, and greyx as well, to count anything on the head of a pin<G>

Hey greyx – apologies for mogging your thread!

Thanks, Jack, for your comments.
