Just read your post with interest. I am just returning to serious practice after quite a long period of occasional toying around... What you describe is similar to the unfolding I have experienced. To start with I was hoping for results way too quickly. It took a while to be able to really relax and let the echoes arrive on their own, to their own rhythm and then start learning to 'tune in' to that rhythm.

Right now I am feeling at a plateau, but the practice seems to be moving along quite rapidly towards the next step (or is it leap). It will come in its own time...

The 'refraining from ejaculation' idea is an interesting one - I have used that myself. In fact since starting to work with KSMO the desire for ejaculatory orgasm alone has diminished markedly - in parallel with the ability to open more deeply to the echoes...
