Default Impact of Overall Health, Diet, Prescription Drugs on Results

I've been wondering recently if my overall health and diet have been negatively impacting my practice. I haven't experienced any incredible results. I have experience definitely noticeable results though. I'm starting to wonder if my diet and overall health might have something to do with it.

I know sugar and other processed foods can wreak havoc on the body. I don't know the extent to which it might affect ksmo practice, but everything in us comes from air, water, food, and a little sunshine, and of those things we probably put the most of food in us, so naturally it would have a large impact on the functioning of all things in our bodies. I am attempting to radically change my diet, by drastically increasing the quality. I have been eating too much food period, with too much of that too much being junk food. I'm improving my diet not only for ksmo. There are a lot of other reasons. I'm focusing on eating tons of raw vegetables, some fruit, some raw nuts, simple cooked meals, occasional meat (mostly in the form of raw eggs) and limiting my intake to only when I am hungry, and only eating enough to satisfy my hunger, if not leaving me with a slight appetite at the end of a meal.

Anyway there are a couple symptoms I have that lead me to know that overall I'm not where I could be health-wise and that this might be affecting through chemical means(think hormones and such), my ability to get aroused enough for this practice to work. That could all be bogus, but feeling better overall can only help, so it might be only psychological. Either way, hopefully if I can get in the habit of a diet well regulated both in quality and quantity it will have some impact, and I will report here whatever insights I can glean from this endeavor.
