Thanks Canuck---it took me A LONG TIME to realize that ... I , in certain respects, am grateful in a way ---it has not kept me from being the caring, loving person I am coming to be. Do I wish I hadn't experienced the violence of teh rape SURE ...be lying if i said any different.

In spite of that, I CHOSE to become loving, kind, compassionate, etc.
