Post Re: Maxwell multiple climax?

Hi Jack and Romeo,

BTW, Jack the new forum looks AWESOME!

I think I can help give a brief summary of the Maxwell technique.

I purchased the Maxwell Multiple Climax DVD about 3 weeks ago. I happened to see a promo clip for it on youtube and thought it would be good for a laugh. And indeed, it's a very light-hearted and entertaining approach to learning the basics of separating orgasm from ejaculation. Really, this is just a variation on a very old theme, but to my surprise, it actually works!

This is essentially the Maxwell Technique:

1. Masturbate with the goal of finding your own personal Point of No Return.
2. Learn to pause stimulation at your PONR, allowing your arousal to fade slightly, and then build up to the edge again. Repeat this process until you begin to experience spontaneous non-ejaculatory climaxes.
3. Begin to use to a few quick PC squeezes (as if ejaculating) right at the PONR in order to help trigger spontaneous orgasmic contractions.
4. Apply the technique to lovemaking.

* I think it's worth noting that, unlike most Tantric/Brinkmanship methods, the Maxwell technique does not teach or recommend a PC muscle strengthening routine. The few PC squeezes involved in the method are designed merely to trigger an orgasmic response, not to control it. I believe this is why the Maxwell technique works for me where similar methods involving the PC muscle have not.

So, how does the Maxwell Technique compare with KSMO?

Well, first of all, the techniques are almost completely opposite in their approaches to achieving multiple orgasms.

The Maxwell technique is based on using genital stimulation long enough to achieve sufficient arousal to trigger orgasms right at the PONR. So each orgasm must be timed to coincide with the PONR.

With KSMO, orgasms are based purely on arousal, with little or no stimulation required. They can happen at anytime in almost unlimited ways.

As for how the actual orgasms feel:

In the Maxwell method, the orgasms feel essentially identical to ejaculatory orgasms, including spontaneous, involuntary muscle contractions. At the start of a session, they are barely noticeable, but as the session continues and arousal builds higher, the orgasms become far more pleasurable than a typical ejaculatory orgasm.

I found the technique surprisingly easy to apply during lovemaking, and a wonderful new way to experience orgasms with my wife.

So I guess I'll sum this up with Pro's and Con's:

Pro's:

1. It's quite simple. After all, it's essentially just regular masturbation or sex with a twist.
2. Once mastered, it provides the sensation of ejaculating multiple times without any loss of fluid or arousal.
3. Since the orgasms are based on stimulation, they have an "instant gratification" quality to them that I find refreshing after 7 years of dedicated KSMO practice.

Con's:

1. It's a very basic approach to multiple orgasms that only goes so far. This technique, while lots of fun, is actually kinda shallow. It's like Jack always says, KSMO isn't "McOrgasm." Well, the Maxwell method *IS* McOrgasm. It's the fast food of MMO techniques and as one might expect, you get what you pay for.
2. The quality of the orgasms is inconsistent. Some are earth-shattering, while others will just fizzle out, requiring another ride up the PONR slope before trying again.
3. Because the orgasms are based on the PONR, they are limited to the PONR. And in my experience, they eventually lose their potency as the session continues. For me, this process of "diminishing returns" tends to leave me feeling unsatisfied. Once again, it's like fast food - quick and easy, but ultimately lacks the deeply satisfying qualities of a good KSMO session.

Conclusion:

The Maxwell Multiple Climax Technique is a great introduction to MMO's, but it simply doesn't have the depth, quality, or opportunity for growth that KSMO provides both for the individual as well as for couples. Quite frankly, the orgasms, while fun, just don't compare to the profound, overlapping orgasmic waves associated with KSMO practice.

The only real problem I see with this method is that it might ultimately serve to limit men's orgasmic potential by convincing them that orgasms can only be achieved through the PONR rather through arousal in and of itself.

Overall, I think it's a wonderful DVD. It's funny, informative, and doesn't take itself too seriously. It's the perfect marketing strategy for a subject as awkward and intimidating as MMO's. I expect it will be very popular as the word spreads.

Personally, I'm very glad to have learned this technique and to include it in my bag of tricks. But I have to say that, in the grand scheme of things, compared to KSMO, the Maxwell method is really just a side dish and not a meal in itself.

As a final thought, I would happily recommend this technique to KSMO veterans just for a change of pace or for men who just don't want to know how deep the rabbit hole really goes. But for those who are still in the process of learning KSMO, I would strongly suggest sticking with pure Protocol before attempting to add anything new to the mix.

Well guys, I hope this has helped shed some light on the mysterious new Maxwell technique. Please lemme know if you have any questions!

Best Wishes,

Pan
