04/01/08 (Seated on chair with no caress):

The first Echo Effect appeared as a 'cold energy' which manifested in my thighs, running down them stopping at my knees. I was excited by its appearance but scared it away as soon as I began to consciously acknowledge and describe it.

I then needed to remind myself to relax...

Preparation & Position
From the posts that I have read and from my own personal experience preparation is vitally important to a good session. Good preparation is needed for a clear relaxed mind and a clear relaxed body. As highlighted in the protocol:

It's been quite the month in the life of Lopez... that said, I feel life has got in the way of my practice (or at least I let it get in the way) and thus I haven't been as consistent as I'd like to be. No matter though.. I have so much time ahead of me.

In the few sessions that I did have I did make several observations. Early in the month of December I noticed in one session that my Key Sound had begun to take on relaxing properties. I was no longer consciously focusing on the articulation...

For the last few weeks I had begun each practice session with the doubtful thought that there may be something fundamentally wrong with my articulation of the Key Sound.. but today I began the session without such a doubt!

Knowing that I am articulating correctly reduces the process to relaxation, discipline and patience....

I must say I was a little distracted by work this week and felt my focus drifting a little... my focus of course being to relax into the process and allow myself to enjoy whatever happens.

Friday I tend to set aside time for KSMO practice but found myself preoccupied with the previous working day and a distinct lack of privacy. Unperturbed by this, I gave myself a break from practice and was keen to find out how my body would react..
