It's that time again!

Thank you to Jack for the implementation of the Key Sound Validation Service Area. And a big thank you for the quick feedback of the uploaded samples.

For the last few weeks I had begun each practice session with the doubtful thought that there may be something fundamentally wrong with my articulation of the Key Sound.. but today I began the session without such a doubt!

Knowing that I am articulating correctly reduces the process to relaxation, discipline and patience. Three things I am very willing and very capable of doing.

I started the session relaxing and creating that still space in my mind from which to practice from. I fell asleep and began the KSMO session moments after waking. I took a drink of water and began the seated session.

Freed from doubt, I freely articulated and focused on the resonance of each Key Sound. I continued to relax into each breath and into each sound. With each Key Sound I found my throat relaxing and the sound more resonant. I felt the resonance deeper into my chest and smiled at the development.

Then, a subtle shot of energy raced into my hands and fingers. I made it a point to continue to focus on the KS and continue relaxing. Another subtle shot of energy (similar to a 'hot flush' .. although it paradoxically also felt a little cold) shot at and near my knees. A supportive thought crept in:

"Release the energy with the exhalation and the Key Sound."

It wasn't too long after that thought that I felt compelled to let go.. a familiar feeling began to bloom. The feeling was similar to that which I had felt when I had listened to track 2 of the Ecstasy CD for the first time, an energy emanating from the heart chakra. I continued to articulate and allowed myself to be swept by the energy. It rushed up into my torso filling it and pouring into my head. A great feeling that I find difficult to describe...

I've chosen my words carefully: "swept by the energy"... the sensation resembled a positive helplessness, a release of control, a freedom. This sense of freedom is much like the freedom you would get while swimming in the ocean. You catch a wave and find yourself in a position where you have no choice but to release to its power.. and let it take you where it wants to take you.

I was in this space of "great feeling" for a couple of seconds. As the 'wave' passed and my eyes closed I noticed that I felt taller.. much much taller. It felt as if I was resonating from a place physically higher than my physical self. It felt as if I was existing from somewhere above me. A very strange but welcomed sensation... something I have felt and noticed before.

I was very content with my experience today and spent the rest of the session just relaxing and enjoying what had just happened. My body had had enough for the day and the session.. and boy do I look forward to the next time I practice.
