New year calibration

I'm two days short of my one year anniversary. For my Christmas present to myself I bought the Key sound second seminar. I had been feeling that with all the talk on the chat of articulation I might want to re calibrate. I had thought in the beginning that how hard can it be to stay on track. As many of you already know, how naieve was that. I was convinced it was't worth the extra fifty dollars. It wasn't the money as much as the pride. Needless to say I was so wrong. Just half way through the practice session and I was echoing. I then got back to protocol and have been echoing for days. It's not that It wasn't working, but I got diverted in trying all these different approaches. All it did was make it more complicated than it really is. Enjoying where you are, has been a big lesson, one that is reiterated time and again and for good reason. Mind just comes up with better ways to progress? but to where? Re-calibration to protocol has brought back the intensity and has been the second best investment just short of finding this community in the first place! Happy New Year!
