Rumel's Ruminations - 11

Well the holidays are behind us for now and I hope to get back on a more regular session schedule. I haven’t posted in awhile as I didn’t have anything new to report until today.
In today’s session I encountered a new phenomenon for me. I have been getting a pretty consistent echo effect, PC/sphincter contraction immediately following the single nipple caress, which I immediately follow with the KS. About half way into the session I started experiencing a new echo effect. Prior to today I basically thought there were two kinds of muscle contractions, voluntary (conscious thought control with instigation of action from the brain to the muscle) and involuntary (spontaneous reaction to stimuli without conscious thought or brain instigation). Today, I experienced what I can only describe as a kind of hybrid between the two types, odd and intriguing. Following the KS by a few seconds on several occasions, the following scenario played out. My PC muscle signaled to my brain that it wanted to perform a contraction and if no immediate objection was raised it was going to do so, since I (conscious mind) didn’t send any signal either granting or denying permission to act, it then proceeded to perform the contraction while my mind quietly just observed the process take place. This all took place in just a fraction of a second but was repeated for a short series of contractions (perhaps 5-6). I then proceeded through a couple of regular breaths, on to another KS, a couple of more regular breaths, another KS and then the phenomenon recurred. In all I had about a half dozen of these hybrid contraction sets occur. I am curious if anyone else has experienced a similar phenomenon of their muscles communicating to their brains their intent to perform a contraction. It was as if my body was trying to tell my mind “hey, we’re going to perform an action now that you may find pleasant and enjoyable so get ready” My guess, at this point, is that this is part of a whole mind/body integration process. So this fascinating journey continues, as my body and mind get to know each other better.
